Our rally has taken place at the Coombs Fairgrounds for many years. They allow us back each year because of the cooperation of our rally attendees in following the venue’s terms of use. With that in mind, here are some things you should know:
Grounds/Venue
- ABSOLUTELY NO PETS – Per the terms of our contract with the Association, pets will not be allowed on the site during the rally. This includes campgrounds and all activity areas. This is a term of our rental agreement by the venue. They have defined this rule for a reason. Please help us be respectful of it.
- Please help keep the grounds clean by placing all garbage in designated containers.
- For the benefit of all, we respectfully request that noise is kept to a minimum after 11:00pm or after the dance ends.
- Please remember smoking is allowed on site, outside only and at least 3m (10ft) from any building entrances. Please dispose of cigarette butts in containers provided, not on the ground.
- Washrooms are open 24/7 throughout the weekend.
Emergencies
- A first aid station will be made available throughout the weekend in the Arrowsmith Activities Building.
- In case of emergency, fire extinguishers are available throughout the site. See a committee member for exact locations.
